How it all began:
My parents first introduced our family to the magic of John's stories in 2007. They had found one of his stories and bought it for our eldest Lily as a gift (she was just a toddler at the time). As a family we so enjoyed reading and listening to the stories that I found other stories penned by him and purchased as many as I could find.
Personally I had been looking for an opportunity to start a home-based business so that I could earn an income and be more available as a mother to my children. The books so excited my husband and I that I took the plunge and contacted John to find out whether he would be open to giving me the opportunity to promote his work in Australia. He was game and so it all began. John came up with Bush StoryRhymes which we all thought was perfect and so we registered Bush StoryRhymes in 2008 with John Bush myself Claire Walsh as partners.
Our first task was to produce and publish and Australian bush story and so work began on The Great Aussie Kerfuffle. As our first book it was launched in early 2009 and was quickly followed by 3 other rhyme stories:
These books are an absolute treasure of colourful drawings and the story rhymes are so cleverly written that reading them to my daughter is a joyful experience. I honestly just want to share this experience with others.
